Artistic Swimming Coach (2022-present)
Paid Artistic Swimming Coach
At the Toronto Artistic Swimming Club, I am both a competitive artistic swimmer and a national lifeguard-certified artistic swimming coach. I have coached 3 teams with swimmers of various ages. From teams aged 5-8 to 10-12, I have instilled a passion for artistic swimming in many of my swimmers by establishing a fun and safe environment where each swimmer feels comfortable exiting their comfort zone and improving. All my swimmers have shown significant improvement after only 1 year in the sport and many continue to pursue artistic swimming.

ACRE (Africa, Culture, Resources, Education) (2022-present)
Co-Founder & Marketing Division Head
ACRE (Africa, Culture, Resources, Education) is a student-led and run organization of ~12 people aiming to provide sustainable support to orphanages in Togo (a country in West Africa). ACRE has collected 1000+ books, 4 boxes of clothing, 150 pens, and 50 notebooks to donate to SPES, (Soutien Pour l’Enfance en Souffrance), a global project designed to help orphans in numerous countries that has an orphanage in Togo with 100+ orphans. ACRE has also raised $500+ at school events (e.g. winter market where we sold authentic Togo crafts bought from roadside vendors in Togo and our school's annual spring concert, where we collected donations in GoFundMe) to fund the shipping fees. ACRE has also facilitated cultural exchanges, holding Zoom meetings between kids at the orphanage and students from our school. As Marketing Division Head, I manage a 5-person marketing team to promote our project on social media as well as around the school.

The Bloom Outreach Program's goals include helping non-English speaking students from disadvantaged families improve their English and to facilitate cultural exchange between teenagers with different cultures and backgrounds. As an English Tutor, I use Mandarin and English to teach English to non-English speaking students from rural areas in China such as Guangxi and Yunnan Provinces and help them advance their English proficiency and language skills. I've taught 30+ students and interviewed 20+ tutor candidates as part of the HR team.
